I am sure that we the people got the message. The key is will there be enough momentum to get the people to roll up their sleeves and commit to making the dream happen.

Some of us have had our “sleeves rolled up and have been working” for a long time.We have some stake in this for sure,but you are also talking to people who have worked for forty plus years and we are getting tired!!

A thought provoking article Anja, I have not read Shepherd’s book but will now. I believe President Obama is an icon of hope, acting as a beacon to inspire and motivate people. His charisma transcends borders. I am reminded of the wonderful Matt Harding – a self-confessed couch potato who danced his way around the world spreading happiness and joy. If he can do it, then I am sure the new President can too.
